Handprint Snowflake Art

We have been busy working on winter-themed art projects lately and one of my favorites so far is this Handprint Snowflake Craft. Here's how you make it:

1. Find a large enough piece of paper. I used 12 x 12 card stock for ours.

2. Paint hand with a good amount of white paint. We also added Crayola Mixing Mediums to our white paint. It comes in a set of 3: Glitter It! Pearl It! and Texture It! I added the pearl one to give it a fun shimmering effect. The glitter one would also be fun for this craft- it's silver, but I chose to add our white glitter in instead. I have used these on many crafts in the past and definitely recommend them!

 3. Rub Hands together until both hands are completely covered in paint.

4. Make 1 handprint in the center with the fingers almost to the top of the page.
5.Turn page upside-down and repeat with the other hand making sure to have the palms touching each other or even over-lapping a little..
6.Repeat steps 1-2.
7.This time turn the page and make a handprint so that the palm touches the other 2 palms and then repeat on the other side with the other hand.
8.Add snowflake or other winter-themed stickers. I purchased ours from Michael's.
9.Write the year. I used Glitter Glue .

The finished handprint snowflake craft.
