| What makes my 4 year old smile activity |
We have been busy doing
smiley face themed crafts & activities! My son
(photo above) made
handprint smiley faces by painting just his palm area yellow and making a print. He made thumbprint eyes and then drew on a mouth with marker. I wrote the "What Makes Me" and he write "Smile." I asked him what made him laugh, smile, or laugh and he answered with everything from America's Funniest Home Videos to eating with Grandma to going outside. This will be cute to look back on when he is older!

I also made handprint and thumbprint smiley faces with my 1 yr old daughter and wrote the saying "Don't worry, Be happy!"

We have been contributing to a Smile-a-Thon for Operation Smile. You can contribute too- it's easy! All you have to do is find random smiley faces in everyday objects (they're everywhere!), take a photo, & upload it to the Spontaneous Smiley website- that's it! Please include the words "Elizabeth sent me." $1 is donated to Operation Smile for every spontaneous smiley photo uploaded.
