Thumbprint Balloons - Birthday Card

We made Grandma a thumbprint balloon card for her birthday!!!

My son chose 3 different colors of paint for his thumbprint balloons- pink, purple, and blue. I made a little template for him on a folded piece of construction paper (or card stock). To make his template, I placed dots of marker in the colors that matched his chosen paints.

He made a matching thumbprint on each dot.

Can you tell his loves matching? It has been a favorite activity of his since about 2 yrs old- he will match anything & everything!

My little guy also made Grandma a birthday cake drawing. Purple is her favorite color so he made the candles purple. Of course he used his 2 favorite colors as well- yellow & red!

My toddler colored a cute Happy Birthday Grandma coloring page.
