Boo'tiful Glow-in-the-Dark Footprint Ghost crafts for Halloween
Every year we make a Footprint Ghost Craft for Halloween, this year we made them glow-in-the-dark. The top photo is my son's footprint ghosts - he chose the phrase "Trick-or-treat, smell my feet" to have on his {such a boy ...lol!}. I wrote the cute Halloween saying "Too cute to Spook" on my daughter's boo'tiful keepsake.
How to make the Glow-in-the-Dark Footprint Ghosts:
I already had glow-in-the-dark fabric paint on hand so I just used that, but you can also find glow-in-the-dark paints in with the regular craft paint section. Since my paint was clear and I wanted it to show up in the dark and in the light, we made white footprints with tempera paint first. After it dried completely {important or it will smear!}, I painted the glow-in-the-dark paint over it. Sometimes you can find glow paint that is already colored and can just make the footprints with that and they will show up in both dark & light.
***The paint is charged by the light, so no black light is needed. If you want it to show up really bright in the dark, place a light directly over it to charge it.
Check out our Skeleton Handprints Craft that also glows in the dark!
